Ekosem-Agrar AG Announces Deferral of Interest Payment for 2019/2029 Bond

Walldorf, 27 June 2024 – Ekosem-Agrar AG has announced the deferral of the interest payment due on 1 August 2024 for the noteholders of the Ekosem-Agrar bond 2019/2029. This decision follows consultation with e.Anleihe GmbH and the company's noteholders' advisory committee.

As resolved in the noteholders' meeting on 31 May 2022, the interest claims of 2.5% p.a. for the 2023/2024 period will be deferred by one year. Similarly, the interest for the 2022/2023 and 2021/2022 periods will see further deferrals.

This move aligns with the bond restructuring approved by a majority of noteholders on 4 June 2024. The restructuring plan includes the sale and transfer of the bond at EUR 300.00 per note, which foresees no further interest payments beyond this purchase price. The deferral aims to secure the agreed restructuring framework.
