ENCAVIS and Innovar Solar sign framework agreement for 500 MW of solar projects in Germany

Hamburg, 17 September 2024 – Encavis AG, a leading wind and solar park operator listed on the MDAX, and Innovar Solar GmbH, a developer of solar projects, have signed a framework agreement to develop 500 MW of solar projects in Germany. This agreement ensures that as individual projects are completed, new ones will begin, maintaining a rolling capacity of 500 MW.

Stefan Veltrup, Managing Director of Innovar Solar, highlighted the collaboration as a significant step toward accelerating Germany's energy transition. Mario Schirru, CIO/COO of Encavis, noted that the partnership helps expand Encavis's current solar capacity in Germany from 412 MW, strengthening their role as a leading electricity producer from renewable sources in Europe.

The development of these projects is already underway.
