EssilorLuxottica and Diesel announce 10-year licensing agreement

EssilorLuxottica and Diesel have signed an exclusive licensing agreement for the design, production and global distribution of Diesel eyewear. This agreement is effective immediately until December 31, 2029, with an option to automatically renew for five additional years. The first collection will be launched in the first quarter of 2025.

The agreement combines the bold style of Diesel with the innovation and distribution capabilities of EssilorLuxottica. Glenn Martens, Creative Director of Diesel, will lead the development of the new collections, which will notably target “Gen Z”.

Francesco Milleri, CEO of EssilorLuxottica, and Renzo Rosso, founder of Diesel, expressed their enthusiasm for this partnership, highlighting the quality and innovation that this agreement will bring to the new products.
