EV Digital Invest AG Updates Forecast for 2024 and Issues Convertible Bonds
Berlin-based EV Digital Invest AG, operator of 'Engel & Völkers Digital Invest' and 'Digital Invest Assets,' has updated its forecast for 2024, anticipating EBIT between EUR -3.5 million and EUR -4.1 million. The previous forecast had anticipated an improved EBIT of up to EUR -1.9 million. The lowered forecast arises from the prolonged effects of the real estate crisis.
To meet capital requirements, the company will issue two convertible bonds totaling EUR 2.5 million. The majority shareholder has agreed to subscribe to these bonds. This capital injection aims to support the company's diversification strategy and sustainable growth plans.
Key initiatives for 2024 include the acquisition of the ECSP licence and the successful launch of a solar financing project. Despite market challenges, the management remains confident in their vision to transform the platform into a multi-asset investment destination.
