Evotec Announces COO Departure and Internal Restructuring
Evotec SE has announced a significant change in its management team. Dr. Craig Johnstone, the Chief Operating Officer, is set to step down effective 31 December 2024 after a 12-year tenure with the company. His leadership has been pivotal in shaping the company's global operations. Dr. Johnstone's departure marks an internal distribution of his responsibilities within the Global Operations Leadership Team while a new organizational structure is underway.
Prof. Dr. Iris Löw-Friedrich, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board, expressed gratitude for Dr. Johnstone's contributions and dedication. CEO Dr. Christian Wojczewski also acknowledged his passion and leadership.
Dr. Johnstone joined Evotec in May 2012 and held various leadership roles before becoming COO in January 2019. His exit prompts strategic adjustments as Evotec continues its mission to advance innovative therapeutics.
