Evotec SE Names Dr. Christian Wojczewski as New CEO
Evotec SE has announced the appointment of Dr. Christian Wojczewski as the new Chief Executive Officer effective from July 1, 2024. Dr. Wojczewski, who comes with a robust background in chemistry and over two decades of management experience, takes over from Dr. Mario Polywka. Dr. Polywka served as the Interim CEO since January 3, 2024, and will retire at the end of June this year.
Prior to his new role, Dr. Wojczewski was the CEO of Mediq and held a significant position at Linde Healthcare. The announcement came shortly before the 2024 Annual General Meeting where Dr. Polywka will also step down from his role in the Supervisory Board.
