Evotec SE Names Dr Christian Wojczewski New CEO
Evotec SE announced the appointment of Dr Christian Wojczewski as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1st July 2024. The decision was made by the Supervisory Board and follows a comprehensive selection process initiated in January. Dr Wojczewski will succeed Dr Mario Polywka, who has served as the interim CEO since January 2024 and is set to retire at the end of June.
Dr Wojczewski, with a background in chemistry and over two decades of management experience in the healthcare sector, notably served as CEO of Mediq and Linde Healthcare. Prof. Dr Iris Löw-Friedrich, Chairperson of the Supervisory Board, expressed confidence in Wojczewski's capabilities to lead and evolve Evotec, praising his track record in transforming healthcare companies. Dr Wojczewski expressed his enthusiasm for driving future developments at Evotec, a leader in end-to-end R&D services for the life sciences industry.
