FireFox Gold Discovers High-Grade Gold at Mustajärvi Project in Finland

FireFox Gold Corp. announced the results of a recent trenching campaign at the Mustajärvi Gold Project in Lapland, Finland. The exploration at the East Target revealed significant high-grade gold mineralization. A new trench showed 10.1 meters with an average of 13.79 g/t gold, following a previous trench from 2023 that reported 6.87 meters averaging 59.12 g/t gold.

The second trench stepped 30 meters from the previous site, uncovering a 2-meter zone averaging 2.56 g/t gold. Although lower in grade, these findings extend the surface area of mineralization. This demonstrates the potential of surface-mineable gold deposits in the region.

CEO Carl Lofberg emphasized the importance of detecting high-grade gold near-surface, which ties into their ongoing electrical geophysics efforts to explore the depths further. The findings also suggest possible faulting across the Mustajärvi Shear Zone, aiding future explorations.
