First Half of 2024: Homann Holzwerkstoffe Reports Solid Operating Result Despite Slight Decline in Revenues

Munich, September 27, 2024 – Homann Holzwerkstoffe GmbH, a leading European supplier of thin, refined wooden fibreboards, published its interim Group report for the first half of 2024. Despite a slight 3.9% revenue decline to EUR 186.3 million, the Group exceeded expectations.

Adjusted operating EBITDA met expectations at EUR 28.4 million, with an EBITDA margin of 15.1%. Equity saw a rise to EUR 189.0 million due to positive consolidated results and reduced currency translation differences.

Management does not foresee a significant change in MD/HD fibreboard demand for the rest of 2024. The Group anticipates stable revenue and EBITDA trends in the second half, with the commencement of a joint venture project in Egypt and anticipated production start in Lithuania by early 2025.
