FlatexDEGIRO CEO Frank Niehage Set to Depart from Management Board in April 2024
FlatexDEGIRO AG has announced that CEO Frank Niehage will exit the management board by mutual agreement on April 30, 2024. Niehage communicated his decision to depart before his term concludes to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, prompting the initiation of a search for his successor. The Supervisory Board expressed gratitude for Niehage’s contributions during his tenure.
In the interim, responsibilities of the CEO will be shared by Dr. Benon Janos, CFO, and Stephan Simmang, CTO, who will serve as Co-CEOs. This arrangement aims to ensure leadership continuity within FlatexDEGIRO. The management team also includes Christiane Strubel as CHRO, and the management board of FlatexDEGIRO Bank AG comprises key figures managing the online broker’s operational activities.
