Formerra Attains ISCC PLUS Certification for U.S. Distribution Warehouses

Formerra, a prominent leader in the distribution of performance materials, has successfully obtained ISCC PLUS certification for its U.S. operations, including nine distribution warehouses throughout the nation. This achievement significantly enhances its commitment to the circular economy and enables the distribution of sustainable materials that meet rigorous standards.

This certification allows Formerra to ensure the quality of their sustainable materials and uphold strict sustainability standards, which plays a crucial role in reducing greenwashing in the industry. Mike Balasko, the Sustainability Director at Formerra, stated that this certification enables the company to better meet the needs of its customers, particularly in providing timely deliveries close to customer locations.

The certification, audited by SCS Global Services, validates that Formerra's processed materials, alongside its policies and warehouse operations, comply with the demanding requirements of ISCC PLUS. This accomplishment reinforces Formerra’s position as a strategic partner in the supply chain for suppliers and processors seeking sustainable, bio-based, or recycled materials.
