Further Delay in Annual Financial Statements 2023

Frankfurt am Main, 19 September 2024 – LIBERO football finance AG announced another delay in the publication of its annual financial statements for the 2023 financial year. Initially postponed to mid-September, the release is now expected in mid-November 2024.

This delay is attributed to the ongoing finalization of contractual agreements related to the acquisition of shares in Bridgeburg Invest S.L. in Spain. While a partial settlement of EUR 25 million with Barça Produccion S.L. has been achieved, negotiations for the remaining EUR 15 million are still in progress.

The complexities involving multiple parties have contributed to this extended delay. The Executive Board is optimistic that all legal disputes with FC Barcelona will soon be resolved without negative impacts on LIBERO.

A clear outlook on the remaining matters is anticipated by mid-November 2024, enabling the audit and subsequent publication of the 2023 financial statements.
