Gerresheimer Completes Acquisition of Bormioli Pharma Group

Gerresheimer AG has finalized the acquisition of Blitz LuxCo Sarl, the holding company for Bormioli Pharma Group. This deal, completed in December 2024, expands Gerresheimer's portfolio with complementary products and enhances its footprint across production sites in Europe.

Bormioli Pharma offers a diverse range of pharmaceutical packaging solutions, including glass and plastic primary packaging, closures, and dosing systems. The acquisition strengthens Gerresheimer's position as a full-service provider in the pharma and biotech industries.

The merger promises financial benefits, expected to positively impact Gerresheimer's adjusted EBITDA margin and EPS in the first year. A strategic reset of its Moulded Glass business is also planned, aiming for growth and competitiveness.

Bormioli Pharma's integration into the Gerresheimer Group will be fully consolidated from December 1, 2024. New guidance for the unified company will be announced in February 2025.
