GFT Technologies SE Announces Marco Santos as New CEO

GFT Technologies SE has declared the appointment of Marco Santos as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 July 2024. He takes over from Marika Lulay, who has chosen not to seek an extension of her contract expiring on 31 December 2024. Until her departure, Santos and Lulay will serve as Co-CEOs.

Marco Santos, who has been with GFT Group since 2011, has progressively held significant roles within the company, including managing director positions in GFT Brazil and GFT USA. As of 2023, he has led GFT Americas, overseeing business operations across North and Latin America.

In conjunction with these leadership transitions, Marika Lulay will resign from her role on the Administrative Board following the Annual General Meeting scheduled for 20 June 2024. The meeting will also propose the election of Marco Santos to the Administrative Board. Furthermore, the Board announced the extension of CFO Dr. Jochen Ruetz’s contract for another five years, until 31 December 2029, and his appointment as Deputy CEO starting 1 January 2025.
