Global Education Communities Corp. Announces Non-Brokered Private Placement

Vancouver, BC - Global Education Communities Corp (TSX:GEC, OTCQX International:GECSF) has announced its intention to raise approximately $2,000,000 through a non-brokered private placement. This will be achieved via the issuance of debentures. Each debenture will mature one year after issuance, extendable to a second year by GECC, with an annual interest rate of 10%, paid quarterly. The debentures can be converted into common shares at $0.30 per share in the first year and $0.36 in the second year.

The proposed financing, subject to TSX approval, may involve the payment of a finder's fee for specific subscriptions.
