Global Education Communities Corp. Reports Second Tranche Closing of Non-Brokered Private Placement

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / September 27, 2024 / Global Education Communities Corp (TSX:GEC)(OTCQX International:GECSF) has announced the closing of the second and final tranche of its non-brokered private placement of convertible debentures. This financing was initially announced on August 27, 2024.

The total gross proceeds of the financing amounted to $1,505,000, with $100,000 being raised in the second tranche. The issued debentures and any common shares upon conversion are subject to a hold period expiring on January 27, 2025. Final approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange is still pending.
