GMV Minerals Announces Promising Lithium Findings at Daisy Creek

GMV Minerals Inc. has announced encouraging preliminary results from drilling at its Daisy Creek project in Lander County, Nevada. The company reports a thickening of claystone horizons with increasing lithium grades towards the southern part of the site. Notably, drill hole DC24-1 intersected three distinct lithium claystone horizons, totaling 48.7 meters with significant lithium enrichment starting at a depth of 76.2 meters.

The drilling involved four holes, each 5.5 inches in diameter and drilled vertically. Three of these holes reported notable lithium concentrations; however, hole DC24-5 revealed no significant values. Furthermore, no significant uranium values were encountered in the exploration.

According to Ian Klassen, GMV's President, the lithium values observed in DC24-1 are economically promising, often surpassing cut-off grades for similar projects in Nevada. The findings indicate great potential for substantial tonnage estimates, as holes are spaced between 300 to 1,000 meters apart.
