Green Arrow Capital selects Voltalia for a solar power plant in Spain
Voltalia, a global renewable energy player based in Paris, has been selected by Green Arrow Capital to build a 135-megawatt solar power plant in Sanlucar la Mayor, Seville. The project includes engineering, procurement and construction as well as operation and maintenance for an initial period of two years.
The plant will occupy 169 hectares and will include 192,864 photovoltaic panels. The start of work is planned for 2024 with commissioning the following year.
The collaboration with Green Arrow Capital, an investor specializing in renewable energies, underlines the strategic interest of the Spanish market for both entities. Voltalia, present in Spain for more than 15 years, thus strengthens its involvement in the region.
