Grenke AG Achieves Strong New Business in Q3 2024
In Q3 2024, grenke AG reported a 24.9% rise in leasing new business compared to the same period in the previous year, reaching EUR 738.5 million (Q3 2023: EUR 591.1 million). The Contribution Margin 2 (CM2) grew by 29.1%, totaling EUR 125.8 million, and the CM2 margin increased to 17.0% from 16.5% in Q3 2023.
The DACH region experienced the strongest growth with a 19.5% increase, achieving EUR 189.3 million. Western Europe, excluding DACH, saw a 17.8% rise, contributing EUR 175.7 million in leasing new business. Southern Europe and Northern/Eastern Europe regions also demonstrated significant growth.
Dr Sebastian Hirsch, CEO, highlighted the ambition to reach record new business of over three billion euros for the year. CFO Dr Martin Paal noted the successful placement of a EUR 500 million bond, enhancing refinancing conditions.
