Grit Real Estate Income Group Board and Management Changes
Grit Real Estate Income Group Limited, specializing in impactful real estate in Africa, has announced significant changes to its board of directors. Leon van de Moortele, the Group Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board, absent for medical reasons since December 19, 2023, resigned on February 27, 2024. The Board expressed its gratitude for Leon's commitment and significant contribution since the Company creation.
Grit also announced the arrival of Gareth Schnehage as its new CFO, joining the board of directors. A chartered accountant by trade, Gareth has over fifteen years of experience in management roles with multinationals, including strong operational expertise in Africa and in the implementation of asset-backed financing solutions. This transition is in line with Grit's objectives to strengthen and diversify its portfolio of real estate assets across Africa.
