Las Vegas-based Gryphon Digital Mining has named Eric Gallie as Senior Vice President of Energy Strategy. Effective immediately, Gallie will lead efforts to secure and optimize low-cost power solutions for Gryphon's bitcoin mining and AI infrastructure operations. CEO Steve Gutterman highlighted Gallie's expertise in power markets as crucial for Gryphon's strategic growth in digital mining and AI.

Gallie brings a wealth of experience from his previous role at an energy-focused hedge fund, managing significant energy investment portfolios. His background includes managing a $1.5 billion investment portfolio at Luminus Capital and guiding a $335 million asset acquisition at Distinction Energy. Gallie's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Management in Finance from the University of Lethbridge.

He expressed enthusiasm for Gryphon's growth potential at the nexus of energy, digital assets, and AI. This appointment underlines Gryphon's commitment to expanding its digital mining and AI infrastructure capabilities through strategic energy management.
