GTDC Appoints Ananth Lazarus to Lead APJ Expansion

The Global Technology Distribution Council (GTDC) announced that Ananth Lazarus has been appointed to lead the expansion initiatives in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) theater, addressing the rising demands for industry support. Lazarus, an experienced executive formerly with giants like Microsoft, IBM, and Compaq, will focus on member development, community engagement, and resource evaluation in the APJ region.

GTDC CEO Frank Vitagliano mentioned Lazarus's three-decade experience as pivotal for guiding the council’s APJ strategy. "Ananth understands the unique challenges in these markets and will assist us in enhancing our outreach and developing robust programs across the region," Vitagliano said. Lazarus's prior roles involved managing strategic regional operations and leading significant transformation projects, such as the APAC Ecosystem Cloud transformation for Microsoft.

Lazarus expressed enthusiasm about his new role, aiming to strengthen relationships and support growth within the APJ IT community. His extensive background in driving technology expansions will support GTDC's efforts in fostering an active distribution network, aligning with global trends and regional needs.
