Hannover Re appoints Brona Magee to succeed Klaus Miller on the Executive Board

Hannover Re has announced the appointment of Brona Magee to the Executive Board effective 1 January 2025. She will take over from Klaus Miller, who will transition to an advisory role after 14 years with the company.

Brona Magee has been leading Hannover Re's Business Center Life & Health Asia since April 2023. Her prior roles include membership on the Executive Committee at SCOR. At Hannover Re, she will share responsibility for the Life & Health reinsurance business group with Claude Chèvre.

Chairman Torsten Leue and CEO Jean-Jacques Henchoz praised Magee's extensive experience and leadership. Klaus Miller, who joined Hannover Re in 2010, will be recognized for his significant contributions. Founded in 1966, Hannover Re remains one of the world’s leading reinsurers.
