HelloFresh Reports €399 Million AEBITDA in 2024 Amid Strategic Shifts
HelloFresh SE announced an AEBITDA of approximately €399 million for 2024, focusing on profitability and cash flow over volume growth. Despite a decline from €447.6 million in 2023, the results align with the company's strategic adjustments. Revenue reached €7.66 billion, marking a slight increase from the previous year.
The company implemented a new marketing strategy targeting fewer but higher-value customers, alongside advancements in productivity and efficiency. This led to an improved meal kit AEBITDA margin of 14.1% in Q4 2024, up from 11.4% the previous year.
In 2025, HelloFresh plans to extend its efficiency program with goals to increase AEBIT and AEBITDA. Despite anticipated revenue declines, the focus remains on enhancing product quality and customer retention.
