HERIGE Group Announces Financial Impact of Business Sales to SAMSE Group

HERIGE Group has disclosed the financial impacts of its definitive sale of the Building Materials Trading, Public Works, and Natural Stone businesses (VM Matériaux, LNTP, and Cominex) to SAMSE Group, effective April 30, 2024. The businesses together represented a 2023 turnover of €374.8 million and included 79 points of sale in Western France.

The enterprise value of the businesses sold was calculated based on an EBITDA multiple. This move allowed HERIGE to reduce its debt by €124.6 million and improved its gearing by 90 points. The transaction also generated a capital gain of €33.0 million, offsetting a net loss of €4.4 million from the same scope during the prorated period.

This transaction provides HERIGE with additional resources to support its industrial strategy, marking a significant financial restructuring for the group.
