HKSTP Showcases AI Innovations at InnoEX 2024 with Global Participation

The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and 25 partner companies recently participated in InnoEX 2024 and the Hong Kong Spring Electronics Fair. The events highlighted the latest research and development in AI, robotics, and smart city applications. Prominent officials, including Paul Chan and Lillian Cheong from HKSAR, attended, underscoring the importance of advanced technology in Hong Kong's future.

These exhibitions are part of a broader initiative to position Hong Kong as a leading hub for technological innovation globally. HKSTP emphasized their commitment to transforming the region through intelligent technology. Their participation in InnoEX displayed market-ready solutions and aimed at attracting investment and business matching opportunities, notably during the startup showcase sessions.

This year, Hong Kong’s innovative prowess was further validated as it rose in global rankings for technology readiness, making significant strides in utilizing AI and IoT. The technology displayed ranged from Neuron Digital’s smart building solutions integrating AI for optimized building management to Neuvix’s advanced transport solutions that could potentially transform urban mobility.

The event also previewed cutting-edge technologies from HKSTP’s EPiC startup competition, which will conclude later this month. The competition showcases Hong Kong’s thriving startup ecosystem and attracts substantial international venture capital interest.
