HWA AG: HWA EVO Super Saloon Chassis 000 Reaches €1,310,000 at Auction

HWA AG has auctioned its first production HWA EVO super saloon, Chassis 000, for €1,310,000 at RM Sotheby’s Tegernsee Auction. The vehicle, based on the iconic Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 EVO II, drew significant attention at the inaugural Concours of Elegance Germany held on July 27.

The HWA EVO, featuring a carbon fiber body structure and a twin-turbocharged V6 engine with up to 500 horsepower, represents HWA’s modern reinterpretation of the classic model. Despite its advanced technology, the car maintains the original’s legendary attributes.

HWA’s CEO Martin Marx expressed satisfaction with the auction result, noting it validates the company's strategy. CTO Gordian Von Schöning highlighted the car's lightweight design and powerful performance. The remaining 100 units of HWA EVOs are priced from €714,000 and expected to be delivered by the end of 2025.
