ICAPE Group Acquires UK-Based ALR Services Ltd
On December 18, 2024, the ICAPE Group, a global distributor of printed circuit boards and electromechanical parts, announced its acquisition of ALR Services Ltd, a British PCB distributor. This strategic move marks ICAPE's entrance into the competitive UK market, enhancing its global presence.
Yann Duigou, CEO of ICAPE Group, highlighted the synergies and cross-selling opportunities anticipated with this acquisition. ALR Services brings with it a portfolio of 300 active customers, primarily in the defense and automotive sectors, potentially boosting ICAPE's revenue post-integration.
Founded in 1995, ALR Services is known for its expertise in PCB distribution and expects a 2024 revenue of over £2.5 million. With this merger, ALR Services will gain access to ICAPE's comprehensive service offerings and purchasing power. The acquisition, financed in cash, will be consolidated into ICAPE's accounts in early 2025.
