ICAPE Group Expands Asian Presence with Acquisition of NTW

Fontenay-aux-Roses, France, September 16, 2024 – The ICAPE Group has announced the acquisition of the Japanese group NTW, a prominent PCB distributor. The deal, which is contingent on customary conditions, is expected to be finalized on September 19, 2024.

Founded in 2002, NTW specializes in PCB distribution and operates through seven subsidiaries across Japan, China, and Southeast Asia. The group serves major local industrial customers and aims for a revenue of over $20 million in 2024.

This acquisition bolsters ICAPE's strategic footprint in Asia. The group will benefit from NTW's established relationships with significant Japanese clients and access to new suppliers in the region. ICAPE’s global logistics platform will enable NTW to expand its services and product range, enhancing growth prospects.

ICAPE's CEO, Yann DUIGOU, emphasized that the deal secures a strong position in Japan and opens doors to major Japanese corporations. NTW’s founder, Takashi YASUDA, highlighted the synergies and broader service offerings resulting from the partnership.

The transaction will be financed in cash and consolidated in ICAPE's accounts starting Q4 2024.
