ID TECH Releases the VP7200 Intelligent Contactless Payment Reader

ID TECH has launched the VP7200, an advanced NFC payment reader. This new addition is part of the NEO 3 Platform of Products. It supports tap-to-pay with NFC-enabled debit cards, credit cards, and mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The VP7200 comes with PCI PTS 6.X and EMV certifications. It features a built-in camera for reading barcodes and QR codes. Designed for outdoor unattended applications, it is IP65-rated, making it resistant to rain, snow, and dust. Multiple connectivity options include USB-C, ethernet, RS232, and cellular communication.

"The VP7200 is more than a typical contactless reader," said Wayne Kozuki, Senior Product Manager at ID TECH. "It runs applications and drives external LCD screens, providing a compact and innovative payment solution."

The NEO 3 Platform includes other products like the Kiosk V unattended contactless reader and the VP3350 mobile payment reader. More products are set to join the platform, offering a range of state-of-the-art payment solutions.
