IllumiPure, Inc. Gains Patents for Innovative LED Technology

illumiPure®, Inc., a prominent innovator in LED technology, has successfully patented its CleanWhite® 405 nm and 405/470 white light LEDs in the European Union and Japan, enhancing the reach of their groundbreaking North American patents from 2022. These LEDs are the only ones worldwide to achieve a Risk Grade 0 (EG 0) and Exempt Status in safety tests per IEC 62741.

The patented CleanWhite LEDs offer a unique combination of traditional white light illumination and advanced features like disinfection and circadian rhythm management, while effectively reducing exposure to harmful blue light. This technology is designed to elevate health and safety standards in indoor environments.

CleanWhite LEDs feature a 405 nm diode which not only creates white light but also acts as a powerful disinfectant. This innovation allows constant surface and air disinfection without switching modes, unlike conventional LEDs. Additionally, the 405/470 LED enhances the healthier 470 nm light wavelength, further supporting circadian rhythm management.
