INDUS Completes Acquisition of COLSON X-Cel

INDUS Holding AG has finalized the acquisition of British company COLSON X-Cel, effective 5 June 2024. The German investment firm now fully owns the medium-sized manufacturer of industrial valves, which specializes in the control and regulation of liquids and gases. The acquisition agreement was signed by Pneumatic Components Ltd (PCL), a subsidiary of INDUS portfolio company HORNGROUP, in March 2024.

"COLSON's access to the UK and US markets and global activities complement our internationalization strategy," said Axel Meyer, INDUS Board Member. "Local presence is increasingly crucial amidst growing protectionism." INDUS will commence the initial consolidation of COLSON X-Cel on 1 June 2024.

This acquisition follows INDUS' recent purchase of AI specialist GESTALT AUTOMATION and remaining shares in Hauff-Technik GRIDCOM, reflecting its ongoing focus on expanding market reach and technological capabilities.
