INTEGRITY STAR AWARD HONOURS COMPANIES FOR THE QUALITY OF THE SUSTAINABILITY REPORTS FOR THE FIRST TIME

The Global ESG Monitor (GEM) launched the Integrity Star Award, recognizing top performers in sustainability reporting among 194 companies from DAX, MDAX, SDAX, and international segments. Deutsche Telekom AG, EDF SA, and Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen SA excelled in the GEM ALL segment. The award, part of the Impact Challenger Days webinar series, utilizes the GEM ASSAYTM methodology, focussing on transparency and context without jury intervention.

Winners displayed clear and comprehensible reporting. However, the study highlighted gaps in financial materiality analysis, with only 59% addressing double materiality. Despite some progress, substantial improvements are needed with new ESRS standards. The webinar series aims to foster learning and improvement in corporate sustainability reporting.
