Jaguar Mining Updates on BA Zone Development and Exploration
Jaguar Mining Inc. has announced progress on its BA zone development at the Pilar mine in Brazil. The company has advanced access development on five sub-levels, generating 30,547 tonnes of ore with an average grade of 4.64 g/t, producing 4,032 ounces of gold in the first half of 2024.
Diamond drilling has been productive, with highlights including 9.35 g/t Au over 7.5m in hole PPL1102. The company expects to mine 50-60,000 tonnes grading 4.14 g/t from the BA zone in the second half of the year. President and CEO Vern Baker noted consistent production and higher grades from recent activities.
