José Burgos awarded the EY Family Business Award 2024
Saint-Georges-sur-Loire, September 24, 2024 - José Burgos, CEO of STIF (FR001400MDW2, ALSTI), a specialist in explosion protection, has won the Family Business Award for the West region as part of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2024.
The ceremony, organized by EY, was held on September 23 at the Rennes School of Business. This award highlights entrepreneurs who strengthen the regional economy. Of the 31 candidates, a jury awarded five entrepreneurs, including José Burgos for Family Business of the Year.
José Burgos expressed his gratitude to his collaborators, customers and suppliers. Since 1998, he has worked alongside his father, the founder Manuel Burgos. He has developed the company's international network and strategically oriented the group towards the BESS market in 2022.
