KALRAY Debuts Ngenea® for AI to Boost GenAI and RAG Performance
Grenoble, France, and Las Vegas, NV - May 22, 2024 – Kalray (Euronext Growth Paris: ALKAL), a developer of software and hardware solutions for data-intensive workflows, introduced Ngenea® for AI at Dell Technologies World 2024. This new edition of their Data Acceleration Platform targets AI data pipelines to enhance performance and streamline data management.
Ngenea for AI supports generative AI (GenAI) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications, offering advanced data indexing and search capabilities. This helps AI developers utilize existing data assets more efficiently, accelerating AI workflows and optimizing GPU usage.
Key features include a high-performance storage tier managed by a parallel file system, and optional hardware acceleration via Kalray's DPUs like the TURBOCARD4 (TC4), allowing parallel processing for demanding workflows. The platform also includes an AI Toolkit for seamless integration with third-party AI tools.
Kalray's Ngenea for AI edition joins existing versions for Media & Entertainment and high-performance computing (HPC). It is available through Dell and select partners.
