Kreke Family Shifts Douglas AG Participation to Direct Stake
The Kreke Family, through their investment vehicle Lobelia Lux S.à r.l., has transitioned from an indirect to a direct stake in Douglas AG. This was achieved by acquiring shares worth 188 million euros from Kirk Beauty International S.A., previously co-managed with CVC Capital Partners. As a result, CVC now solely invests in Kirk Beauty International. Consequently, Lobelia Lux S.à r.l. directly holds slightly over 11% of Douglas AG.
Dr. Henning Kreke, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Douglas AG, expressed confidence in the company's growth strategy and management. Douglas AG, known for its portfolio including brands like NOCIBÉ and Parfumdreams, remains a leading beauty retailer in Europe, focusing on omnichannel strategies.
