L’Abbondanza deploys VusionGroup solutions in its stores
With VusionGroup's innovative solutions, L'Abbondanza will strengthen its operational efficiency while improving the in-store experience for its customers.
September 25, 2024 – VusionGroup, a global leader in digitalization solutions for physical retail, announces a new deployment of its solutions with L'Abbondanza, one of the leading Italian food brands associated with the Selex group. The brand will equip its 43 stores located in Umbria, Tuscany and Marche.
The collaboration will allow L'Abbondanza to optimize operations, enrich the customer experience and improve the work environment thanks to technologies based on IoT, data and AI from VusionGroup.
The technologies will enable instant pricing updates, reduced errors and more efficient inventory management. The retailer will also experiment with Captana for real-time inventory management and plans a test of Engage video rails.
The deployment, already well underway, should be completed in the first quarter of 2025, relying on the Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi infrastructure and the VusionCloud platform.
