LaMar's Donuts Celebrates National Donut Day with Record-Breaking Ambition

DENVER, CO / ACCESSWIRE / May 31, 2024 / LaMar's Donuts & Coffee is preparing for a unique celebration of National Donut Day on June 7. As per tradition, visitors to LaMar's Donuts will receive a complimentary Ray's Original Glazed Donut. The festivities are set to expand with pop-up donut shops across Colorado, Missouri, and Kansas.

This year, LaMar's aims to make history by attempting the largest donation of doughnuts in one hour, certified by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS®, at The Salvation Army Distribution Center. Patrons can participate in-store, at pop-up locations, or virtually via social media.

National Donut Day, established in 1938 by The Salvation Army, commemorates the "Lassies" of WWI who served donuts to soldiers. LaMar's Donuts continues its 14-year partnership with The Salvation Army, with fundraising and community engagement events.
