Laxxon Medical Appoints Lauren Chung as Chief Financial Officer

Laxxon Medical Corp., a prominent pharma technology company focusing on oral drug delivery, has announced the appointment of Lauren Chung, PhD MBA, as Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Chung will join the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors, succeeding Marjorie Bailey. This change aligns with Laxxon Medical's strategy to transition into a clinical stage company, focusing on enhancing financial and operational management capabilities.

Dr. Chung brings over two decades of experience in the healthcare industry. She has demonstrated expertise in financial and operational management, deal sourcing, and strategic growth. Previously, she led Minleigh LLC, a healthcare advisory firm, and held roles at Turret Capital Management and Tokum Capital Management.

Dr. Chung holds advanced degrees from Columbia University and will be participating in the UBS Global Healthcare Conference alongside Laxxon's leadership. This appointment is expected to contribute to Laxxon's growth and value creation for stakeholders.
