Lhyfe and Elyse Energy: Partnership for the production of e-methanol from green hydrogen

Lhyfe, a major player in the production of green hydrogen, and Elyse Energy, a pioneer of low-carbon molecules, announce a partnership to produce e-methanol. This project is part of the port ecosystem of the Loire Estuary, at Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port.

Winner of the call for expressions of interest launched by the Grand Port Maritime de Nantes Saint-Nazaire, Lhyfe will develop this initiative to decarbonize maritime transport. E-methanol, a clean fuel, is a crucial issue for achieving carbon neutrality and reducing fossil fuels.

The partnership aims to carry out a feasibility study for the production of e-methanol from green hydrogen on the Montoir-de-Bretagne site. This innovative project will depend on the results of this study and the necessary authorizations. A presentation of the project is planned for September 2024.
