LIBERO Football Finance AG Delays 2023 Financial Statements Publication Again
LIBERO Football Finance AG has announced a further delay in the publication of its 2023 annual financial statements. Initially expected by mid-November 2024, the new release is now anticipated in mid-January 2025. This postponement affects the interim financial statements for June 2024 as well, since they depend on the completion of the 2023 accounts.
The delay is primarily due to unresolved contractual agreements related to acquiring shares in Bridgeburg Invest S.L, Spain. Previously, LIBERO announced a partial agreement with Barça Produccion S.L amounting to EUR 25 million. However, the final negotiation, involving around EUR 15 million, remains pending due to the transaction's complexity.
The Executive Board remains optimistic about resolving these issues soon without negative impacts on LIBERO. The forthcoming clarity should facilitate the finalization of both the 2023 and interim financial statements.
