LISI Group Reports Record Sales in H1 2024
The LISI Group announced a record €900 million in sales for the first half of 2024, marking a 10% increase compared to the same period in 2023. The aerospace sector showed significant growth, driving this performance. The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 38.3% to €107.2 million.
Current operating margin saw an improvement of 1.5 points to 6.0%. Free Cash Flow improved by €28.5 million, reflecting robust self-financing growth despite business acceleration and strategic inventory maintenance.
The company also managed a 46.2% rise in earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) to €54.0 million. Net profit doubled to €31.6 million, translating to a diluted earnings per share of €0.68.
The LISI AEROSPACE division, contributing 56% of total sales, performed notably well with a 22% increase in sales. The automotive and medical divisions faced challenges but showed resilience with strategic adaptability.
Overall, the group's outlook remains positive with confirmed annual targets amidst a volatile environment.
