Lonza Nominates Juan Andres and Eric Drapé as Independent Board Members

Basel, Switzerland, 25 July 2024 - The Lonza Board of Directors has nominated Juan Andres and Eric Drapé as Independent Members of the Board. The elections will take place during the Lonza Group's Annual General Meeting in May 2025.

This move aims to enhance Board governance and succession planning. With these additions, the Board will expand to ten members.

Juan Andres brings over 35 years of experience, including leadership roles at Moderna, Novartis, and Eli Lilly. He is also a Board Member at Avantor.

Eric Drapé has held numerous leadership positions over a similar time frame, most recently at Teva Pharmaceuticals, managing operations across 50 sites globally.

Board Chairman Jean-Marc Huët emphasized their extensive leadership experience and strategic capabilities as valuable assets for Lonza.
