Lumenco, LLC has announced the creation of a new entity, Lumenco Scientific, to focus exclusively on the commercialization of its Solar Chill™ energy-optimizing coating transfer technology. This decision allows Lumenco Scientific to operate independently of its parent company, targeting the energy sector.
Solar Chill™ technology, protected by U.S. patent #11,908,965B1, acts as a nano-mask reflecting heat-producing infrared light while letting visible light through. This innovative use of nanostructures and metamaterials could potentially increase solar panel energy capture by up to 20% and extend panel life by keeping them cooler.
Lumenco Scientific is actively seeking licensing opportunities and strategic partners to bring this technology to market.
