M1 Kliniken AG Reports 71% Increase in Operating Profit

M1 Kliniken AG has announced a significant rise in its operating profit (EBIT) by 71% for the first nine months of 2024. The Group's sales increased by 8.7% to EUR 257.22 million, while EBIT grew to EUR 22.09 million. The beauty segment drove this growth, with sales climbing 33.5% to EUR 71.02 million and EBIT in the segment rising 30.4%.

The company's strong performance is attributed to strategic expansions and operational enhancements. As Europe's leading private provider of beauty treatments, M1 operates 63 medical centers in ten countries. The Trading segment saw EBIT rise from EUR 0.4 million to EUR 5.8 million with slightly increased sales.

M1 Kliniken AG is reportedly exploring strategic options, with private equity companies showing interest in the beauty segment. The Group is on track to meet its medium-term targets, which include expanding its medical centers to between 150 and 200 by 2029.
