Mako Mining Reissues Two Exploration Press Releases with Qualified Review
Mako Mining Corp. (TSXV:MKO)(OTCQX:MAKOF) announced that it has come to the Company's attention that one of its independent qualified persons, Mr. John Kowalchuk, had his registration with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia expire on January 1, 2024. As such, he did not meet the "qualified person" definition under National Instrument 43-101 when he reviewed and approved Mako's news releases on January 24 and March 13, 2024.
Dr. Matthew D. Gray, a qualified person under NI 43-101, has now reviewed and approved the contents of these news releases.
Akiba Leisman, Chief Executive Officer of Mako, signed off on the communication on behalf of the Board.
