McFarlane Lake Mining Limited has reported significant results from its recent field sampling at its McMillan Gold Mine. A sample indicated 87.4 grams per tonne (gpt) gold and 0.59% copper, suggesting strong potential for high-grade gold and polymetallic mineralization.

The company plans to commence a fully funded 3,000-metre winter drill program in Q4 2024. This effort aims to confirm and expand upon historical high-grade gold intercepts, including a notable 27.9-metre intercept with 6.4 gpt gold.

Located 70 kilometers west of Sudbury, Ontario, the McMillan Gold Mine is strategically positioned within the Huronian Gold Belt. The upcoming exploration seeks to unlock further value through the identification of multiple regional targets. Recent surface samples have shown values up to 10.9 gpt gold.

The company has completed a regional geological data compilation and plans to evaluate these targets ahead of the drilling program. This comprehensive approach aims to enhance understanding and capitalize on the polymetallic potential of the site.
