Metabolic Explorer requests conversion of its backup procedure
Clermont-Ferrand, May 16, 2024 – METabolic EXplorer (METEX), specialist in industrial fermentation, requested the Paris Commercial Court to convert its safeguard procedure into a judicial recovery procedure, started on March 25, 2024. This approach takes place following an expression of interest dated May 6, 2024.
The conversion desired by METEX should allow the study of offers to take over the company's assets and activities, as part of a sale plan. The court's decision is expected in the coming days, with a continued suspension of trading of METEX shares in the meantime. The company will communicate the verdict once it is rendered.
The potential proceeds from the sale, according to current projections, would not allow a payment to shareholders following the resumption of METabolic EXplorer's activities.
