Metro Bank Appoints Paul Coby as Non-Executive Director

Metro Bank Holdings PLC announces the appointment of Paul Coby as an independent Non-Executive Director, effective from December 30, 2024. Coby brings extensive experience in digital transformation and technology, with a history as Chief Information Officer at major companies including British Airways and John Lewis.

Currently serving as CIO at Persimmon Homes PLC, Coby also holds a trustee position at the Museum of London Archaeology. His prior board experience includes roles with Clydesdale Bank and Virgin Money. Metro Bank Chairman, Robert Sharpe, expressed confidence in Coby's ability to contribute to the bank's ambitious growth plans.

The board structure now includes five independent Non-Executive Directors, three shareholder-nominated Non-Executive Directors, and two Executive Directors. No additional disclosures are required under the UK Listing Rules for this appointment.
